Acer Iconia Tab A210 update review

Despite the fact that if you look in tablets market then you will find i pad , Samsung's tablet  and for now Google nexus is front runner, these all tablets are grabbing headlines, this shows that future for 10 inches tablets is very bright  .Although  Google Nexus is  the front sprinter for currently, but Acer recently upgraded its 10.1 inch tablet Iconia A210 and this tablet will now run on Android 4.1 jelly bean .This tablet is present in 8 GB version and also available in 16 GB .

Although this is not a high end, gadget but the soft touch plastic rear side is enjoyably grippy. The A210 is a good 10-inch tablet device with a good price. Hardware wise the A210 is of 159 x 175 x 12.4 mm and weighs about 659 g. Two small speakers are mounted. The top left corner comprise of an Iconia Tab logo, and  Acer's logo is at the bottom.

The micro SD slot is shielded by a cover area it also contains a reset button under that cover area.Volume button, an orientation lock button and microphone input is on top of screen. Power input is on right side though we will like to detach this in favor of charging via micro USB. The A210 be short of an HDMI output.

It has a basic front VGA camera that serves well for video calls. Although some people will complain about the camera on rear side, though camera is an important but not as important that you miss one tablet on that basis every tab has its own spec. For those looking for a tablet with no irrelevant twaddle on board, the lack of a camera is a rub of intellect.

Another fact that is not good is the rationally low resolution however that's enough to host 720p video. The A210 has a quad core 1.2 GHz processor that is based on a Nvidia Tegra 3 T30 chipset, and has 1 GB RAM that includes both WiFi and Bluetooth, as well as GPS.
Apps and games
Some apps comes pre loaded in the A210 and Polaris Office is one of the
Acer made clear that Google owned apps like G mail  YouTube and Google Maps all incorporate well by default. Polaris Office app is of worth £8.99 and is built-in for free, which is very helpful for editing documents.

These software, brings a new aspect to the A210's USB 2.0 slot, though we can join desktop keyboard however Bluetooth is also present. Acer Cloud option is also available for  file-sharing and back-up.
Battery life
Battery life is the one of the spot where the A210 insincerity match Samsung
A210 is packed with a 3260 mAh battery that's about half as of Samsung's 7,000 mAh battery, the A210 survives only six hours of video usage., battery timing is bit better than the Google Nexus 10. Pop up menu will help you to supervise battery utilization

If A210 is fully charged then it can be sporadically use through the day to browse and check email without taking tension about its battery. The sun spider test shows that its average battery timing is better than other android tabs

Final verdict

You can rate Acer Iconia A210 as one of the best budget 10-inch tablets available. Fixed, it's all about functionality and value, not about gaudy features and design. The accumulation of a USB 2.0 slot makes informal file-swapping easy and also allows keyboards to be wired-up.

It's a bit too strapping to be stylish, but also have a lot to features to like about it.
User will love it for that USB slot, but there's also to like with useful Android Jelly Bean moods that are homed baked and give a good feel to use

On board , the biggest issue is most likely its screen, with such low resolution it is now where near to its rivals, lack of rear camera and no output for HDMI is also one of the reason that bogged down its market value
If you compare it  against the Google nexus 10 then it comes out well due to its low price and SD option give it an opportunity, as battery life is about equal, while again it loses out on screen motion.
And the end A210 in a nut shell. On paper it is nowhere near to a lot of its rivals, but it has everything in it that an average tablet user desires with such low value for money.
