Kindle Fire HD 2: what we can expect

It’s sure that Amazon’s Kindle Fire HD was one of the best tablet device of last year and now rumors are swirling for few weeks that this device will be replaced later this year. But now seems like e-reader market of Amazon tablets stitched up, because we have seen that Barnes and Noble Nook has been struggling up to some extent.    

Kindle Fie HD successor has to face strong rivalry in the form of Apple iPad 2 and also from Google Nexus 7(2). Now it would be interesting to see what Amazon will do in order to keep its Kindle 7 inch series on success track, because last year’s device was a great hit. Important to know that Kindle Fire series tablets grosses 22 percent of total sales in United States.  
Current Kindle Fire HD model is quite similar to Nexus 7 in terms of hardware and price tag, but it crushes the Apple iPad mini in terms of screen resolution and price tag.

Processor:

Kindle Fire HD 2 is expected will be powered by a quad core while the current model has only dual core, though was enough for that time but in now a days it seems that Kindle Fire HD processor is a bit below the competition. Current model is powered by cortex A9 architecture processor which is outdated by Cortex-A15.

Price tag:

Kindle fire HD was launched in September last year, and now according to recent reports it seems that Amazon is not in hurry and they will launch device around same-time like last year i.e. September.
Last year Kindle Fire was launched with a price tag of $159, and due to its low price tag and all high end features device sold in great number. Features of Kindle Fire HD were a 1.2 GHz dual core processor and full HD display, these specs act as catalyst in sales of device.
It is expected that Amazon will not increase the price tag of device, in order to keep in touch with Google new Nexus 7, which started at a price tag of $230 for 16 GB variant.

Release date:
