Samsung Galaxy S5 normal version is recently launched and already breaking records of first day selling units, definitely a great sign not only for Samsung but also for those who wanted to buy GS5. Samsung GS5 Active variant rumours starts soon after normal variant launch. and today well known leaker @evleaks leaked about upcoming GS5 Active.
Samsung last year released GS4 Active, which was water and dust resistant, and was the only model of GS4 with IP67 certification. Now rumours of GS5 Active starts swirling because latest tweet from @evleaks suggests that Samsung will be releasing GS5 Active with 277 Apps. Now we all know that normal variant of GS5 is IP67 certified, Device with IP67 certification can survive 30 minutes under 1 meter of water and will not be effected by water.
Earlier we have reports that Sony is also planning to release this year flagship Sony Xperia Z2 with IP68 certification. Latest leaks suggested that Samsung GS5 Active variant will be IP68 certified. IP68 device can survive 1 hour under 1.5 meter water which is nearly double than normal variant.
