According to latest reports Google will be introducing new iteration of Android OS next week at Annual I/O event. From look of things its almost confirmed that Google will be replacing Android KitKat with new OS, but one thing is not confirmed as Google yet to announce details about next gen of Android OS. Initially we have rumours suggesting Google will be introducing Android 4.5, but now latest details suggests Google will introducing Android 5.0 instead of Android 4.5.
Android 5.0 rumors are backed up by a leaked photo, in which clock time is at 5.00. Although its not official, but if you remember last year when Nexus 5 was released official time at that time on ads was 4.40 linking to Android KitKat. It's the only clue backing up Android 5.0 release. Android 5.0 is expected will be released with a name of Lollipop, and this update will be having few features of Android 4.4 KitKat as well.
Nexus 8 is expected as last device before dropping of Nexus line-up that's why rumors are swirling upcoming Nexus 8 tab will be having Android 5.0 on board, while next year Google will be releasing devices Android Silver program, and initially LG emerged as manufacturer of first group of Android Silver devices.
One of the most interesting feature of Android Silver devices will be 64 bit processor with 4GB of RAM.
LG first Android Silver devices will be having Qualcomm MSM8994 processor. Qualcomm MSM8994 processor features 8 cores with 64 bit processing style, which requires more RAM than 3GB which is underdeveloped.
