Google I/O event is just a week away, Everyone is keen to know what Google will presenting at this event, and which version of Android will be replacing KitKat 4.4. According to latest reports Google will be presenting new Android version codenamed as "Moonshine". So far it's not confirmed either this version will be Android 4.5 or Android 5.0. But One thing is sure that we will be seeing new Android OS in next week annual Google I/O conference which will be held on June 25th and 26th in San Francisco.
Moonshine OS version is expected will be more sort of tablet optimization OS, and also Google will be introducing new features with bug fixes in current OS. However, OS update is not the only thing expected in this event, report further suggests Google will be introducing two new Game changers, One will be heavily rumoured Android Silver while second will be Android Wear which is still in dark.
Earlier this year Google made it clear they will be focusing on new wearable devices, a part from Google Glass, they will be starting with Google Smart Watches . Google Blog, suggests Android Wear technology will allow users to get straight Spoken answers from their Smart watches, and devices will allow users to observe their health and fitness routines.
Android Silver program is heavily rumoured ahead of its announcement, we are hearing a lot of buzz regarding this program. Under this program, it is expected Google will be bringing new modification to its custom Google Launcher. First Batch of devices under this program is expected in first half of next year, while LG is expected as among the first in manufacturing Android Silver devices. Since the rumours of Android Silver program start swirling, rumours of dropping of Nexus program in favour of Android Silver program also emerged.
Recently Apple also stunned world by introducing revolutionary iOS 8.0 during WWDC 2014 event. Apple not only introduce new mobile search features but also threatens Google core business Android OS. That's why everyone is expecting Google will be arranging its I/O conference event as grand Anticipating event.
