Google Nexus 9 release date is still a mystery, before I/O event rumours were swirling Google will be announcing its heavily rumoured tab during the event, but now I/O event is over and still existence and release date of device is in dark.
According to so far leaks and reports Google Nexus 8/9 will be the manufactured by Taiwanese tech giant HTC. So far leaks suggests Google Nexus 9 is dubbed as "Volantis", while a recent report from Design and Trend suggests Google Nexus 8 is dubbed as "Flounder". Now all rumours are pointing Nexus 9 in early fall or sometime in late fall.
HTC well known leakster "LlabtoofeR" recently revealed that Nexus 9 release delayed because Google and HTC wanted a dedicated event for launch of device, and device is expected will be released with a new Android firmware, which is unofficially known as Android L. Nexus 9 is expected will be having an Quad HD 8.9 inch display with a screen resolution of 2048 x 1440 with a PPI of 281. Device will be powered by Tegra K1 processor with 2GB of RAM. As native storage device will be available in 16 and 32GB. Well if you are expecting SD card option, you have to wait for official announcement of the device. So far there is no news regarding SD card option.
