A recent report from Counterpoint showed that Samsung Galaxy S5 sales fall behind in May. Apple iPhone 5S emerged as winner beating recently released Galaxy S5. Report further suggests main reason of dull reaction from market is that Galaxy S5 is missing eye caching features, that's why customers are not attracted towards Samsung's flagship.
Apple released its flagship iPhone 5S back in September 2013, and since its release device is on top of most sold Smartphone. Though gadget experts were expecting Samsung's flagship GS5 might out sale the iPhone 5S but so far result is opposite Apple iPhone 5S is still on top.
Counterpoint is Hong Kong based research firm, they researched in 35 countries. According to their result iPhone 5S is on top, followed by GS5, GS4 and Galaxy Note 4. On fifth position Apple iPhone 5C placed trailed by iPhone 4S. Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi also has two devices in top 10. On seventh position Xiaomi MI3 placed while Hongmi Redrice is on ninth position.
LG's flagship G2 failed to make position in top 10, its outside of top 10 list. In top 10 list there are three tablets, two are from Samsung i.e. Note 3 and Grand 2, while one is from Xiaomi. This reflects device with larger display are now ongoing trend. Nearly 40 percent of sales in May are of Phablets.
