Google Android is currently available in developer preview version, other users have to wait for final version. No doubt latest Android L is pretty owsum because of its handful features and overhaul visual experience is quite amazing. Android L is not only packed with UI features but also have plenty of improvements under the hood, which makes Android OS more powerful and lighter on battery of device.
Though final version of Android L is still in dark, but every Android user is keen to know when they can get latest version of Android on their devices. Mostly Android manufacturers yet to announce about their plans regarding Android L update. Today we will take a look on when you can expect Android L on your devices.
Google already released developer preview for its Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 LTE, which confirmed that these two devices surely will be receiving Android L on release. On the other hand Nexus 6 will be the first device to have latest Android L on board. Device launch is expected in October with a release in November. Second device which is expected with Android L on board is heavily rumoured Nexus 8/9.
On the other hand it seems other Nexus devices including Nexus 4, 7 and Nexus 10 won't will be receiving this update because Google send OTA update to its devices for around 18 months after release. Google play edition devices of Galaxy S4 and HTC One can also expect update soon after update received by Nexus devices.
HTC is among the first manufacturers who claimed that they will be sending update to their devices in 90 days after getting code from Google.
So far only HTC One M8 and M7 emerged as successful devices for receiving latest Android L sense version. Now let's have a look on devices which also have pretty bright chances of receiving this update, these devices include HTC one Mini, HTC One Max and also HTC One Mini 2.
Samsung is currently ruling Android world with its flagship Galaxy S series along with Galaxy Note series. Smartphones of both series are on success track and surely Samsung will be try to send OTA Android L update to its maximum Smartphones. Surprisingly Samsung is quite regarding Android L update, reason is quite simple Samsung is waiting for final version of this update so that they can send it to their flagship devices as well as prominent devices of this year.
Assuming Samsung routine, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy S5 surely will be among the first one to get this update, there are fair chances Samsung also will be sending this update in same time as HTC is claiming. Galaxy Note 3 and S4 will be getting update some time after aforementioned devices. Other Samsung devices will have to wait a bit longer than above mentioned devices, because few devices are currently receiving Android 4.4.2 from Samsung.
