Beta version of Android L is already available and many Nexus fans and developers are currently enjoying   Developer Preview SDK of their favourite OS.
Android L becomes the first Android OS which is initially released as Beta version for developers,  which surely will help developers to do some hands on experience with the upcoming version of Android. Google introduced latest OS with new material design which provides users with a new notification system, much improved performance and at the end Google claimed that new OS will provide enhanced battery life as well.
As far as release is concern Google upcoming Android OS release is expected in September/October time frame, So far only HTC and Nexus are confirmed will be getting Android L. On launching of Android L HTC claimed that they will be releasing their Android L version nearly after three months after getting software code from Google.
