Samsung Galaxy Note 4 vs. Galaxy Note 3: 5 key Things Buyers Need To Know

Well, it's now confirmed that Samsung will be releasing its latest flagship Galaxy Note 4 in October. Those customers who wanted  Note 4 in their pockets have to wait for at least four weeks to have aforementioned device in their hands.
Both devices were launched at IFA event, Galaxy Note 3 on release gained popularity because of new design and also high end Specs. Galaxy Note 3 ruled nearly for a year not only Samsung top line but also top Android Smartphone market. However, it's time for Galaxy Note 4 to take on charge from now with its new design.
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 major alternative will be none other than its elder brother Galaxy Note 3. Note 3 is still a powerful device not only on papers but also in market with more affordable price tag. Today we will take on top five differences among the last year flagship Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Note 4.

The first difference among Note 3 & Note 4 is their display. Both devices Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Note 4 featured 5.7 inches display. Last year device was having full HD screen resolution i.e. 1080 pixels while this year device is having a Quad HD display with a screen resolution of 2K.
Galaxy Note 4 display is much sharper than last year device because of screen resolution.  Let me clear that if you think Quad  HD display is just publicity stunt from Samsung but I am sure you will feel the difference once you have both devices in your hand.

Samsung is known for changing its flagship design on yearly basis, same is the case with Galaxy Note 4. Galaxy Note 3 was released with a new faux  rear cover as compared to last year polycarbonate cover. Though it was a great step from Samsung but still device lacks the build design quality like the flagship devices from HTC.
For this year Samsung improved further because build quality of this year device is way better than Galaxy Note 3. Last year's device solely build material was plastic but for this year Samsung used metal to wrap the sides of device. Rear cover of new model is extremely soft and can be gripped with one hand.
Galaxy Note 4 dimensions are 153.5 x 78.6 x 8.5mm while last year Note 3 was of 151.2 x 79.2 x 8.3mm. So overall Galaxy Note 4 is a bit thicker than its decedent.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 was packed with quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with 3 GB of RAM. Both Devices are divided in two variants as far as processor is concern. . First variant of Galaxy Note 4 is featuring Exynos 5433 processor while second variant is featuring Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor with 3 GB of RAM.
Latest Snapdragon 805 is featuring couple of improvements as compared to last year Snapdragon 805.  First prominent changing is of new Andreno 420 graphic chipset, which surely will give a better gaming environment  to Note 4 users.

Now a day's camera plays prominent role is success or failure of device. Samsung gives special attention towards camera of its flagship devices. Galaxy Note 3 was packed with 13 MP rear camera while front facing camera was of 2 MP. In Galaxy Note 4's case rear sensor is of 16 MP with OIS feature, front facing camera is of 3.7 MP. Galaxy Note 4 front camera can record Quad HD video of  2560 x 1440 pixels, which Galaxy Note 3 front facing camera lacks.

On two year contract Galaxy Note 3 was released with a price tag of $299.99, same will be for this year Galaxy Note 4. While price tag of device without contract is still mystery because Samsung didn't revealed what will be the final price tag of latest Galaxy Note 4. Currently Best-Buy is offering Galaxy Note 3 on two year contract for an affordable price tag of $99. It's the lowest price tag we can expect for two year contract.
