Google’s upcoming Motorola Made Nexus 6 is in headlines for last few days and today WALL Street Journal also reported regarding the launch of 5.9 inches Nexus phablet Smartphone. WALL Street Journal also confirmed launch of Nexus Smartphone will be later this month. Of course, it’s not surprising for most of you but good thing is that more reliable sources are now confirming that launch of Nexus 6 is inching closer.
Motorola Nexus 6 is codenamed as “Shamu” and device has been immensely leaked in last few days. Recently we have Geek Benchmark results for the Nexus 6 which confirms that upcoming Nexus 6 will be one of the most powerful Smartphone available in the market. Many of our readers and Nexus fans wanted a 5.2 inches display but it’s almost confirmed that Nexus 6 will be having 5.9 inches display with a screen of 1440 x 2560 pixels. Device will be powered by the Qualcomm’s latest quad core Snapdragon 805 processor with 3 GB of RAM.
Rear camera of device will be of 12 MP with OIS (Optical Image stabilization) while front facing camera will be of 3.7 MP. Last year Nexus faces few issues of battery drainage either because of daemon threads or of Skype update but this year device will be featuring a gigantic battery of 3200 mAh.
The WSJ report further suggests that Google will be also launching Android L along with Nexus 6. So far it’s not confirmed what will be the name for upcoming Nexus, either it will be Nexus 6 or Nexus X. This yet to be cleared.
So far we have two alleged launch dates for 5.9 Nexus phablet, Google most probably will be launching Nexus 6 on October 15th or October 16th. Yeah in a week or so.
