Last year after success of HTC's flagship M7, HTC announced that they will be launching phablet version of HTC One M7 as well. Same is the case for this year's flagship but One major change is that this year phablet device from HTC will be fully loaded in terms of Specifications.
A recent report from China suggests that upcoming phablet version of HTC One M8 will be featuring a Quad HD 5.5 inches display of 1440 x 2560 pixels screen resolution with a spectacular PPI of 538. Device will be powered by a Qualcomm's 2.7 GHz Quad code Snapdragon 805 chipset with 3 GB of RAM. Most striking feature mentioned in report is 18MP rear camera with Optical Image Stabilization.
HTC M8 phablet will be power-driven by 3000 mAh battery, Though it sounds a bit lower for device with a gigantic display of 5.5 inches. HTC boosted HTC One M8 2600mAh battery well that's why can give the benefit of the doubt to HTC.
HTC One M8 Max will be having Android L out of box in the form of latest Sense 6.5. Last year Max device was featuring Finger print scanner on rear side, but from look of things it seems this year device will not have finger print scanner.
