Google Nexus 4 Android 5.0 factory Image Available Now: OTA Update Coming Soon

Google started sending OTA update to its Nexus devices a couple of days ago, but so far Nexus 4 users are still waiting for the OTA update. We heard that Google will be releasing an update for Nexus 4 is just a few days, but latest development suggests an update is just around the corner because Google released the factory Image for the Nexus 4 running latest Android 5.0 Lollipop with an LRX21T build number.

As I mentioned above Google released an update for other devices two days ago but took 2 days for the Nexus 4 Android Lollipop build. This update will be bringing a new ART runtime environment and material design for the 2012 Nexus flagship. I am sure new ART runtime will boost the performance of the device.

Although Google didn’t start rolling out Android 5.0 for Nexus 4 but the factory Images indicates an update is imminent. But if you are aggravated and wanted to get it soon, then you just have to face your phone wiped clean in the upload process. The uploading process of factory Images of Nexus 4 isn’t difficult but locally stored app data will be gone in this process.  At the end, if you don’t want your phone wiped clean, then wait for the OTA update from Google.
