Samsung Might Launch Galaxy S6 With Dual Edge Display

Samsung Galaxy S5 went on sale nearly 7 months ago, and as we are approaching end of the year, rumours of upcoming flagship from Samsung are heating up. We also have couple of reports regarding what Samsung fans can expect from GS6 in terms of features.

Well, latest report is from South Korea which suggests that Samsung will be releasing Galaxy S6 with a dual edge display, it means Samsung wanted to take Note Edge concept to the next level.
During the recent Display Analyst Conference, Well known Senior Display analyst Jerry Kang claimed that upcoming Galaxy S6 will be having dual edge display which means display will be curved from both left and right side.

As you all know recently launched Galaxy Note Edge was the first edge display Smartphone from Samsung but aforesaid device display was edgy from right side only. Jerry further claimed that Samsung was initially planning to release Note Edge with dual curved display but at the end Samsung changed plan in favour of current design.
In a recent report SAMMobile also suggested that upcoming Galaxy S6 will be having Quad HD display with a screen resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.

Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is also featuring a Quad HD display with a screen resolution of 2560 x 1600 Pixels. 1600 instead of 1440 is to compensate the extra edge display on the right side. In case of GS6, we can expect 160 pixels more to compensate the both edgy sides of display. Final resolution of GS6 might be 2560 x 1760 pixels.

Samsung is claiming Galaxy S6 project as “Project Zero” which indicates that Samsung wanted to build GS6 from the scratch, that’s why we can expect a brand new design from Samsung.
