HTC One M8 successor is just few weeks away, that’s why we have new details regarding the device on nearly daily basis. Initially we heard that One M8 successor model will be released as One M9 but as per latest info HTC will be ditching their One naming scheme.
Right now, latest details suggests upcoming Smartphone will be released as HTC Hima and we also have news that Taiwanese manufacturer will be releasing Hima Ace and Hima Ultra alongside the normal variant.
HTC well-known leakster @upleaks is again in business, their latest tweet suggests that HTC Hima Ace will be powered by MediaTek processor. Their tweet seems accurate because Ace will be a cheaper version that’s why it makes sense. Ace model is expected with plastic body instead of metal body like Hima.
Regular Hima version is expected with Qualcomm’s Octa Core 64 bit Snapdragon 810 processor with 3GB of RAM. As far as Hima Ultra at least Chinese variants are concern, they also will be powered by MediaTek processor.
HTC Hima will be featuring a full HD 1080 pixels 5 inches display, the Hima Ultra will be featuring at least 5.5 inches, however at this point it is pure speculation.
As far as release is concern, HTC is expected will be holding a separate event between CES (6–9 Jan) and MWC 2015 event.
This year HTC Desire Smartphones including Desire 310, Desire 516 and Desire 820 are all powered by Taiwanese chip-maker MediaTek processor. Last Desire 820 is powered by 64 bit Octa core processor.
