Well, if you are owner of Galaxy Note 3 and still waiting for the Lollipop update, then your wait is over because Android Lollipop for Galaxy Note 3 SM-N9005 is available from XDA.
Recently XDA developer’s forum has the Android Lollipop for the SM-N9005 variant. Device will not only get the Android Lollipop features but will be having a revamped version of TouchWiz.
Before starting the update process, you have to back up your data. Now you must want to know how to start the update, answer of all your queries and update process steps are available on XDA website.
Update from XDA weighs 1.1GB, which is a bit bulky as compared to updates from Samsung. After downloading, you device will take a bit longer time to boot up as compared to normal start up. After completion of update, first application will be Android Lollipop start up wizard.
Let me made it clear, before starting download from XDA, you should keep in mind what you are doing. If your device isn’t that version for which update is available from XDA, then it might block you Note 3. Eventually in few weeks Samsung will start sending OTA update. This version of update is for SM-N9005 variant of the 2013 phablet.
