It seems today is day for Sony leaks, because earlier in morning we have news that Sony’s upcoming flagship Xperia Z4 passed the Japanese communication Certification. Now we have reports suggesting Xperia Z4 is certified by FCC in US.
FCC Papers reveals that an unknown Sony Smartphone just arrived at agency and device is supporting 2, 5 and 7 LTE bands, which doesn't indicates device is Xperia Z4 or not.
As per latest rumours upcoming Xperia Z4 will be released in two variants. First variant will be featuring a 5.2 inches display with a Quad HD screen resolution and pixel density of 565ppi. Second variant will be featuring a 5.2 inches display with a full HD screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and pixel density of 424ppi.
Both variants will be an Octa core 64 bit Snapdragon 810 processor. Quad HD display variant will be having 4GB of RAM while second variant will be having 3GB of RAM. Rear camera of both variants will be 20.7MP while front facing “Selfie centric” camera will be 5MP. A gigantic 3400mAh battery will be powering the device.
As operating system Z4 will be having latest build of Android Lollipop 5.0 on board. Devices will be IP68 certified which means device can survive water and dust contact. Initially device will be available in Silver, black, blue and white.
If above mentioned mystery Sony device is Xperia Z4 then we can expect FCC and Japanese communication agency will unveil this device in few days. FCC id of mystery device is PY7-PM0850. As far as launch is concern device was initially expected at CES 2015 but now it seems device will be unveiled at MWC 2015 in March.
