Apple IOS 8.2 Update: What You Need to Know

Apple announced latest iOS 8.2 on Monday. This update will be replacing current iOS 8.1.3 update. Latest iOS 8.2 is not a minor update but instead it is one of the major iOS 8 update.  Today we will take a look on key thing that Apple iPhone, iPad and iPod users should know what this update is bringing for them.

We have rumours of iOS 8.2 for quite some time now, Cupertino giant released Beta version of this update at the end of last year. As rumours suggests Apple will be releasing this update in second week of March.

Apple took the stage on Monday, during its Spring Forward launch event they announced couple of hardware devices along with iOS 8.2. Apple announced a new MacBook and release date of its Watch. Soon after Apple announcement update emerged for Apple devices.

We will be doing a complete review once all Apple devices receives iOS 8.2, So it’s kind of an early impression regarding the update. With this update many Apple iOS users are facing issues, many iOS 8.2 users are facing issues with battery life while many are complaining issues with Messages.

These kind of issues usually arises on release of new update, As iOS 8.2 is still very new that’s why we can expect more issues in coming days. Good thing is Apple is still signing off on the iOS 8.1.3 update which means users of iOS 8.2 can downgrade their devices to iOS 8.1.3 update. This option is for limited time, most probably within the next week and a half hence if you want to downgrade your device, you can do it right now.

At the end, it’s important to know that Jailbreak version of iOS 8.2 is still not available. Currently iOS 8.1.2 is the newest version of iOS 8 that attuned with jailbreak. With iOS 8.2 Apple is bringing couple of new security features like Google is providing with latest Android 5.1.
