No doubt latest Android 5.0 Lollipop is the biggest update of the Android mobile OS yet but still users are facing few issues. Google heard so many complaints regarding the latest Android Lollipop that they are now getting ready to release another major bug fix update as a separate version. According to latest reports Google is allegedly testing two versions on the Nexus 5 and these two versions are Android 5.1 and Android 5.2.
Typically Google Nexus devices are the first ones which receive update much earlier than non-Nexus devices. As recently both versions alleged testing version are leaked, that’s why we can expect Google will be rolling out the update in last week of March.
Well known Mo Versi, suggests that Google next major update will be released in March. In last few weeks we have seen couple of Android One devices running Android 5.1 that’s why now it’s just a matter of time when mainstream devices will receive the update.
This update won’t be bringing updates regarding UI but instead this update will be providing improvements in Operating system stability. Silent mode which was disappeared on release of Android 5.0 will be back with Android 5.1. Other issues including sudden app closures will be fixed and update will also improve battery life and RAM management.
