Google Will Be Releasing Android 5.1.1 To Fix Memory Leak

Google Nexus users are facing issues of memory leak since the release of Android 5.0.1. Before release of Android 5.1, everyone was expecting Google will solve this bug before release of next iteration of Android.  Android 5.1 is official but still Nexus users are still facing issues of annoying memory leak.


If you are still facing these issues, then you don’t have to worry now because according to issue tracker page on the AOSP, Tech giant Google fixed this issue internally and they will be including this in next release of Android OS. Next update won’t be bigger update but instead will be another minor update and will be named as 5.1.1.  


Numerous Nexus users faces issues of restart while using Google+ app. Many times active apps disappear while using. Free RAM of device also drops suddenly.  Nexus 5 users usually claims these issues. Couple of times closing apps didn’t decrease the amount of RAM in use.

Nexus users don’t have to wait much because in just few weeks Google will be releasing next Android 5.1.1. Google have to do this ASAP because no one wants their Smartphone running with the memory leak issue.
