LG fans are keen very keen to know what kind of material LG will be using for manufacturing of upcoming flagship G4. Few weeks ago at MWC one of the LG’s mobile department executive Cho Juno said their next flagship will be radically different from its predecessor G3.
Juno didn't mentioned metal body for G4 but soon after his interview we have plenty of rumours regarding the metal design of LG’s next flagship. LG customers wants an outstanding flagship for 2015, either it features metal design or not but its hardware should be up to mark. I am sure LG fans won’t mind if device is outstanding with plastic case.
According to Korean industry insider, Although LG is indeed working on a more "premium" design for next flagships to compete with other rivals but rumours suggests G4 is not the device which will feature metal design instead LG will be introducing metal design in second flagship G4 Phablet which is pegged for second half with more premium features including metal design.
On the other hand, LG G4 is reached at that point of manufacturing pipeline where it’s not possible for LG to change the building material. LG G4 Note is expected to be the first flagship device from LG which will be having metal-made design. LG G4 Note will be targeting Galaxy Note 5 that’s why LG is expected will be announcing this device at IFA 2015. G4 launch is expected in last week of April or in first week of May 2015.
