LG Starts Rolling out Android 5.0 Lollipop for the Optimus G Pro

LG introduced the Optimus G Pro two years ago and on launch device was running on Android 4.1 Jellybean. We have news that LG starts rolling out update for this device as well. Initially the update is available in Korean tech giant home country Korea but owners of Optimus G Pro in other parts of world can also expect update in couple of days.   

There are some interesting stories related to LG Optimus G Pro. First is this device was the last LG’s flagship Smartphone which used the Optimus brand, Second this device was the first Full HD Smartphone from LG which was featuring a 5.5 inches Full HD Display.

This device is still available on Amazon with a price tag of $300. This price tag is pretty low as compared to specs it is providing. Optimus G Pro is powered by 1.7GHz Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 600 processor with 2GB of RAM. Rear camera is of 13MP. Basic variant is of 32GB memory but users can expand it using micro-SD card. A gigantic 3140 mAh battery is powering the device.

So far LG rolled out Android Lollipop update for its G3, G2 and G Pro 2. We will keep you updated as soon as some more news surfaces.
