Last year Google announced Android L Beta at I/O 2014 and this year I/O event kickoff with announcement of Android M. The Android L was focused on major UI design but this year Android M is focused more on user experience than UI overhauling.
First feature announced by Google is the changes to application permission, for sure it was one of the unimportant aspect of Android OS. Good thing is with latest Android M, user won’t have to battle again and again with Okay permission requests. User have to grant permission only once time. In case if you want to revoke a permission, you can done that too through a menu in setting.
Google introduced a new pay service like Apple Pay, we can claim it as a reboot of Google wallet. The new pay service is named as Android Pay, this service will allow Android users to do mobile payments within selected marts.
One of the key feature of Android M is Google introduced native support for fingerprint scanners, it will help manufacturers a lot to embed finger print scanner easily. Before Android M manufacturers have to bake in the support for the finger print scanner. Unveiling of both native finger print scanner support and Android Pay shows how much Google is serious about its mobile payment feature.
