Samsung upcoming flagship Galaxy Note 5 is rumoured will be featuring 4K display but we should hold our horses because according to latest info from Samsung’s Iab insider Korean giant tested 4K display panel along with the 2K panel. Which panel will be used in final variant is still remain to be seen.
In our view, Samsung might not finalize 4K display because of yield problem. If Samsung can overcome Super AMOLED 4K display yield problem then 4K display will make the Galaxy Note 5 display a pretty overkill.
Samsung is also testing Exynos 7422 chipset for the Galaxy Note 5. What’s interesting in this Exynos is that Samsung will be bringing the CPU, RAM, LTE Modem, graphic processor and internal storage in a single package. Samsung can utilize this space by adding the large battery. Samsung will be introducing Galaxy Note 5 Edge with flexible display. Note 5 Edge project is internally known as “Project Zen”. Insider further suggests that Samsung is testing 5.4 and 5.5 inches both side curved display for Galaxy Note 5.
