Surprisingly, Windows OS is second most popular OS in Pakistan after Android. Both Android and Windows OS are ahead of iOS. According to marketing head of Microsoft Smartphones for Emerging Asia Patrick Mercanton, sales of their Lumia devices tripled in Pakistan from the Q4 of 2014 to Q1 of 2015.
He also mentioned that Microsoft owns nearly 50% market share of feature phone in Pakistan which helps them to sell Lumia range in large number and entry level Lumia 535 helps company Heave in the country.

Microsoft is now focusing on the B2B market of Pakistan, hence we can expect more Lumia Smartphones with Microsoft’s business leaning products. Microsoft also introduces an entry level Lumia 430 smartphone with dual SIM and Windows 8.1 OS on board. Microsoft will be upgrading this device to upcoming Windows 10.
