A couple of weeks ago, we have reports that Samsung is planning to introduce its next flagship Galaxy Note 5 a bit earlier than expected in a move to steal the limelight of Apple’s next flagship smartphones. Soon after these rumours Samsung Mobile head J.K Shin denied these rumours but today once again have news that Samsung could unveil flagship earlier than IFA.
The IFA event will kick off from the first week of September, from last couple of years Samsung is announcing its next Galaxy Note using this venue. Same the Galaxy S series which is usually unveiled around MWC event.
Although Samsung denied July announcement but as per latest reports Samsung could deviate from its usual plan and may unveil Galaxy Note 5 in August. According to the latest report from Taiwanese blog Sogi, Samsung will be announcing their Galaxy Note 5 in late August.
The report further suggests the reason behind the decision of bringing announcement earlier is to avoid the threat of upcoming iPhone 6S Plus. The last year iPhone 6 was the most successful iPhone in the entire iPhone lineup that’s why it’s not surprising to see why Samsung wants to roll ball earlier this time.
Once again we will recommend you to take these rumours with a pinch of salt because J.K Shin words should be taken as Samsung words. Still we have to wait few more weeks to see whether Samsung is indeed planning to release Galaxy Note 5 with a revised time around or these rumours will dissipate once again.
