Google is partnering with Huawei for a new Nexus is in rumours for quite some time now but according to a recent report from The Information, Tech giant Google and Huawei are joining hands for more than manufacturing a Nexus smartphone.
Well, rumours of Huawei being one of the manufacturers of next Nexus are swirling since the first half of the year but for the first time we have news that both companies are partnering for a complex project. Huawei Nexus smartphone is allegedly confirmed by a Huawei UK employee, which once again heat up the rumours. Other details regarding the Huawei Nexus smartphone are still in the dark.
According to the recent report, Huawei and Google are joining hands to recognise each other in their respective markets. Google Nexus smartphone will provide recognition to Huawei in western markets especially in US market. Currently, Huawei is struggling in United States smartphone market.
This is one of the reasons Huawei is working on one of the new Nexus smartphones of this year. In return, Huawei will help tech giant Google in building an Android App store for Chinese Android users. All Google services including Play Store are not available in China because of Chinese government guidelines.
In China, Google services are reduced to nearly nonappearance. Due to lack of official Play Store Chinese Android smartphone users have to use third party App stores for getting apps. Mostly used third party App stores are Tencent Holdings, Tencent and Wandoujia. With the help of an official App store in China, Google can earn a whopping amount from the biggest Android smartphone users market.
