In last few month, we’ve stumbled across plenty of rumours and leaks regarding the upcoming two Nexus flagships, One will be Huawei’s phablet while the second device will be Nexus 5 2015 from LG.
At I/O 2015, google announces Android M will have native fingerprint sensor support, since then it was pretty obvious that 2015 Nexus hardware devices will have fingerprint authorization option for purchases through Android Pay.
According to the latest report from Korea Herald, the fingerprint scanner for the upcoming Nexus 5 will be a new start for LG and company is very keen to use this new technology for their 2016 flagship.
The Nexus 5 2015 will be the first LG smartphone to have a fingerprint scanner, its kind experiment for LG before putting it in their flagships series smartphones. This means we can expect next year LG G pro and G5 will have the fingerprint sensor on board.
Both leading smartphones manufacturers Apple (Apple Pay) and Samsung (Samsung Pay) will soon announce their mobile payment system. The success of Nexus 5 2015 with fingerprint sensor will encourage the Korean manufacturer to jump in this mobile payment game.
So far LG is looking towards Android Pay which will be available for all smartphones having Android M as OS. From the look of things, it seems Android M will be necessary for using Android Pay feature.
The report further suggests, Google Nexus 5 2015 announcement will be in October, if this report is accurate then we can expect Android M in October as well. Usually, Nexus hardware devices are launched with a new version of Android OS.
