As per the latest leaks, out from China, Korean giant manufacturer Samsung next Galaxy S flagship will be featuring a tough build material than its predecessor GS6. This year flagship Galaxy S6 is using grade 6013 aluminum to avoid issues of bent gate. The Apple latest iPhone 6S and iPhone 6s Plus are featuring series 7000 aluminum for their build as last year flagships face bent gate issues.
According to sources from China, the upcoming Galaxy S7 will be featuring a magnesium alloy body. The rear side of the device will be of glass back panel. Interestingly recently Chinese manufacturer Meizu claimed that their next Blue Charm smartphone build will be of a magnesium and Aluminum alloy.
The Galaxy S7 US and China variant is expected will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 820 processor whereas other continents will get the Samsung’s own Exynos 8890 Chipset. The device is expected with a 5.2 inches quad HD display and a dual camera system on the rear side similar to the HTC’s One M8.
This is not the first time we have rumours that Samsung’s next flagship will be built with Magnesium alloy. The main advantage of using this alloy will be it will provide extra strength to device against bending and dropping. One thing is still not sure whether this alloy will be light weighted like Aluminum one or not.
