Even though the ink of Samsung Galaxy Note 5 hasn’t dried out but we already have rumours of its successor Galaxy Note 6. The official launch is still months away but speculation of upcoming phablet starts swirling.
An unknown leakster revealed details regarding Galaxy Note 6 on its Weibo account. According to leaks, the Galaxy Note 6 will be featuring a 5.8 inches Slim RGB AMOLED display with a quad HD screen resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. If the rumour is accurate, then we can claim that Galaxy Note 6 will be bringing a new production technology of AMOLED display.
The report further mentioned Galaxy Note 6 with 6GB of RAM. It may sound overindulgence but last year Galaxy S6 was powered with 3GB of RAM, last year Galaxy Note 5 was powered with 4GB of RAM. Moreover, recently Samsung announced mass production of LPDDR4 RAM using latest 20nm process.
Samsung further mentioned this will allow Korean giant to produce 6GB RAM smartphone. In this case, we can say that these specs don't seem far off. As far as the chipset is a concern, the leakster mentioned the device will be released in two variants Exynos and Qualcomm just like upcoming Galaxy S7. Other details of the upcoming device are still in the dark, we can expect more details in coming weeks as plenty of time left for an official announcement.
