Samsung flagship users are waiting patiently for their smartphones to get latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow. We know how Samsung fans are feeling right now because Samsung is taking more than usual time to start the roll out of latest Android flavor update.
It’s already mid-February, but Samsung latest flagships including Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 are still far away from the update. So far only Galaxy S6 Edge and Galaxy S6 Edge+ have been upgraded to latest Android 6.0.
Last year, Samsung Galaxy S5 got updated in mid-January 2015. From the look of things it seems, Samsung flagship users wait is about to end because according to latest reports, the Korean giant is now rolling out Android 6.0.1 update for Galaxy S6 Edge and Edge+ version in South Korea.
So far Samsung is silent regarding when rest of the world will be getting this update, but we can expect the global roll out will start in next couple of weeks. Samsung’s Android 6.0.1 version is offering some additional features apart from usual Android Marshmallow features. You can check images below.
These features are not confined to South Korean users only but other countries users will also be getting these features alongside the update.
