It’s confirmed that HTC will be announcing next flagship HTC 10 on April 12th. As the company is hosting a press event on that day for the unveiling of the new flagship smartphone. Now everyone is keen to know when the device will officially hit the smartphone market.
According to ePrice, the upcoming HTC flagship will be released on April 15th in Taiwan. As Taiwan is the home country of HTC, it’s quite obvious customers over there will be getting the device earlier than rest of the world. So other HTC fans in other regions may have to wait a bit longer to grab the 10.
HTC shared some details about the upcoming HTC 10. The device will be the featuring “World first, world class” camera and a new “boom sound”.
In a recent AnTuTu benchmark, HTC 10 outperforms current flagships Galaxy S7 and LG’s G5. Now we have to wait for the official release to confirm these results are in benchmark test only or the final variant will actually outperform its competitors. All the three aforementioned devices are running on the Qualcomm’s latest Octa core Snapdragon 820 Soc.
Apart from the powerful Snapdragon 820 chipset, the HTC 10 is expected with a 5.1 inches Super LCD display with quad HD screen resolution. The device will be having 4GB of RAM and 32GB ROM for the base model. A gigantic 3000mAh battery will be keeping lights on of the display.
