Samsung won’t be releasing the upcoming Galaxy Note 6 until fall this year but the leaks and rumours floating in a way that Korean giant is gone announce the next-gen phablet device much sooner than expected. Today, we have a news originated from China suggesting that Galaxy Note 6 will be powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming Octa core 64-bit Kryo 2.6GHz Snapdragon 823 Soc with 8GB of RAM and Adreno 530 as GPU.
This info seems a bit farfetched because so far we haven’t any news regarding Exynos 8890 Soc successor. On the other hand, we have enough info about upcoming Qualcomm’s high-end Snapdragon 823 which is expected to be similar like SD 820 except will have a high clocking speed. It won’t be easy for Samsung Exynos 8890 to compete against higher clocked SD 823. So there are chances Samsung might introduce Note 6 only with Exynos 8890 Soc.
At the moment, all details are based on expert’s speculations but not from an official source of Samsung. On the other hand, Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge variants powered by SD 820 are slightly less powered as compared to Exynos 8890, so the SD 823 variant might able to compete against Exynos 8890 variant Galaxy Note 6.
As per so far leaks, Samsung could introduce Galaxy Note 6 ahead of its usual time frame. The second prominent leak suggests Galaxy Note 6 will be IP68 certified smartphone with 6GB of RAM.
