The Korean giant Samsung finally rolling out Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 update for the global variants of Galaxy S5. So far company updated the South Korean variants and Sprint variant of GS5 in the US.
Now the global GS6 SM-G900F will be getting the latest Android flavor.  This variant is available in Europe, Asia and in Latin America. So far rolL out suggests, the update is up to 1.5GB so we will recommend upgrading your OS via WI-FI.

Despite after update, the overall visual of GS5 didn’t change much as compared to other Samsung flagships. But still the update is bringing all Marshmallow key features to Galaxy S5 including Google Now on Tap, Doze, granular App permission and the latest security update patch is also part of the update package.
In Asia, the Siri Lanka Galaxy S5 has started receiving the update. As the global variant is available in so many regions, we can expect the update for all regions in next few days but we can’t confirm which country variant will be the first to receive the update. So keep checking for the update notifications and you can also check update option manually as well.
