OnePlus is the latest Smartphone manufacturer in China which was founded back in 2013, the success company achieved with their first flagship back in 2014 was outstanding which helped the company to emerge as one of the best affordable smartphone manufacturers in the market.
The first OnePlus One was one of the best smartphones of 2014, the successor OnePlus was announced in July 2015 and now we have rumours of upcoming OnePlus 3 in next couple of months.
Even though device launch is still few months away but we have a number of leaks regarding the device in last few days. The GeekBench listing of devices gives us a good view what kind of specs we can expect from OnePlus 2 successor device. As per Geekbench, the top of the line variant is packed with 6GB of Ram.
As per the latest leak from OnePlus home country China, the device will be sold out for 1,999 Yuan in Chinese smartphone market which is $310 for international customers. The device will be released in two variants which are quite interesting considering the GeekBench leaked info. The top of line variant of OnePlus 3 will be more costly than standard variant with an aforementioned price tag.
The standard variant is expected with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 820 Soc with 4GB of RAM and internal storage of 32GB whereas the top of the line variant is also rumoured with Snapdragon 820 but with 6GB of RAM and internal storage of 64GB. As being a top of the line model, this variant will be slightly costlier than standard variant.
If aforementioned details regarding hardware specs are accurate, then for sure OnePlus 3 will sell like hot cake with luring hardware specs and affordable price tag. At the moment, everyone is keen to know when OnePlus 3 will be announced. Well as per latest info, the device launch is expected on May 18th with a release in first half of 2016. As nothing is set in stone, and we have to wait for official confirmation regarding the launch. Last year OnePlus 2 was announced in July, so there are fair chances of July announcement as well.
