Finally, wait is over for OnePlus fans because company today released a teaser suggesting an announcement of OnePlus 3 will be on June 15th in China. The device will be the successor variant of last year flagship OnePlus 2. Recently OnePlus 3 is certified by TENAA (FCC equivalent of China) which indicates two variants of OnePlus 3, one with 4GB of RAM while the second one with 6GB RAM.
Recently info leaked by company’s representative suggests that announcement will be on June 14th but now it seems company will take one day more to release the OnePlus 2016 flagship.
Today a teaser is shared through OnePlus official Weibo account, the teaser confirms that announcement will be on June 15th. The unveiling event will take place in the Shenzhen Universiade Center at 10 AM local time. The OnePlus 3 will be up for sale from 16th 2016. So OnePlus wait is finally about to over, and TENNA certification also confirms that leaked render of OnePlus 3 is indeed accurate.
The OnePlus 3 will be having 5.5 inches full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels screen resolution. The Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 Soc will be powering the device with 4GB/6GB RAM. The base model internal storage will be 64GB. The Adreno 530 will be the GPU.
The rear camera on OnePlus 3 is 16MP sensor while the front-facing selfie shooter will be 8MP. A non-removable 3,000mAh battery will be keeping the display on. As OS, Android Marshmallow 6.0 will be pre-installed with Oxygen OS layer (Hydrogen OS for the Chinese market). The capacitive home button fingerprint scanner will be embedded on OnePlus 3, quite similar to last year OnePlus 2.
