Samsung Galaxy Note 7 teaser allegedly leaked a curved edge design

The upcoming Samsung’s flagship Galaxy Note is becoming a mystery with each passing day. The device is rumoured for few weeks but the thanks to new details mystery regarding the upcoming SAMY phablet are clearing up.

Recently it was rumoured that next Galaxy Note will be announced as Galaxy Note 7 instead of Note and today we have an alleged teaser of the aforementioned phablet. The teaser image is leaked by guys behind PhoneArena, An anonymous tipster reveals this teaser image. As per tipster story, the device shown in the teaser is the upcoming Galaxy Note 7.

He further suggests that Samsung is doing smart move by naming this device as Galaxy Note 7. The reason behind going straight to Note 7 is the Samsung wants to align this phablet with the latest Galaxy S7 lineup flagship.

The second reason behind naming upcoming Note as Galaxy Note 7 is that Samsung doesn't want to remind people that this year device is been packed with last year technology and on the other hand, Samsung’s Note 7 main competitor Apple iPhone 7 Plus will also be announced later this year.

The Tagline on this rumoured Galaxy Note 7 teaser is "write on the edge of something great." The upcoming Note is also the first Galaxy Note featuring a curved edges design on both rear and front side. We can also expect that this year Note S pen is featuring a number of new features as compared to earlier models.

As far as hardware specs is a concern, the Galaxy Note 7 is expected to have a 5.8 inches quad HD display with screen resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.  The Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 823 Soc will be powering the device with 6GB of RAM and Adreno 530 will be on board as GPU.

The rear camera sensor on the Note 7 will be similar like we have seen on recently announced Galaxy S7. The device announcement is expected as soon as in August this year.
