HTC manufactured Nexus Marlin render appears online

The upcoming stock Android Nougat Nexus smartphone rumours are not new at all, we have been hearing these rumours for quite a time and in fact, we are expecting two Nexus smartphones this year like the last year.

Both are smartphones are allegedly manufactured by HTC, but so we haven’t heard anything officially from HTC or Google. These two alleged Nexus smartphones are codenamed as Sailfish and Marlin.

The first one will be a normal pocket-friendly Nexus smartphone with mid-range specs and 5 inches display whereas the latter variant will be a phablet flagship smartphone with 5.5 inches display. Both these devices are expected to have the metal unibody design, unlike last year smartphones.

So far we haven’t seen any clearly leaked photo of upcoming Nexus smartphones but today we have a new render of a 5.5 inches Nexus 2016 smartphones which looks quite similar to current HTC flagship with a fingerprint scanner embedded on the rear side.

The latest Sailfish renders show us a device quite similar to HTC 10 and not just that we heard that an insider claim that the render shown above is pretty much accurate and matches with the upcoming Nexus Sailfish variant. Beyond that, we can’t confirm the authenticity of the render as both companies are so far silent regarding their plans to unveil the next iteration of Nexus lineup devices.

That’s why we will recommend you to take this info with a pinch of salt. The alleged render shows device from both front and rear side and it shows there is no physical button on the front side of the device following the earlier Nexus lineups.  The glass display panel is round from edges and its metal frame gives it a look pretty similar to HTC 10. As per leak, the accurate dimensions details of the device are still in the dark and also the front facing speakers are not confirmed by the tipster. On the rear side, we have the fingerprint scanner which is placed under the camera module which is once again a typical Google Nexus design thing.
