Without any doubt, the Mountain View giant Google is pushing their new flagship Pixel smartphones much harder than last year Nexus lineup devices and as we reported Google spending millions of dollars to advertise their new Pixel lineup and from the look of things it seems like their hard work is paying off.
As per latest stats from Appboy, the phablet Pixel XL sales are much higher than the last year phablet Nexus 6P, despite this year Google is facing supply constraints. According to Appboy soon after the Pixel lineup release they analyzed 100 million devices within the first week and out of which Pixel XL devices share is 0.020% whereas the standard variant share is 0.016%. The report further suggests Pixel XL took two weeks to reach this proportion.
We are sure if Google fulfills pre-orders completely we can expect this number would be bigger. Google Pixel lineup devices go short after the first week of pre-ordering.
Although Google new Pixel lineup is performing way better than last year but still they lack behind the popularity of Samsung’s flagship which are dominating all the way. Google is facing restriction in sales because of supply chain constraints but still company needs few good years to match the sales of Samsung’s flagships.
